Munich, May 28, 2020 - R&S Trusted Gate - Teams Express Solution provides secure processing of sensitive data in Microsoft® TeamsTM. The data that is worthy of protection is encrypted and fragmented and stored in the company's own data center or at various cloud providers or distributed. While at the same time the cooperation functionalities of Microsoft® TeamsTM are preserved. The product can be configured quickly and is usually ready for use within 24 hours for all users in an organization. Secure worldwide collaboration is then also guaranteed when working from the home office.

The encryption and distributed storage of documents, which runs unnoticed by the user in the background, supports the retention of existing workflows. Thanks to its easy configuration and fast availability, R&S Trusted Gate - Teams Express Solution is also suitable for smaller installations and is available within the user's own Microsoft subscription.

Each time files are uploaded to Microsoft® TeamsTM, a virtual copy of the confidential documents is created without the data to be protected. The file contains only filterable metadata such as keywords or data classifications. Microsoft® SharePoint OnlineTM, OneDriveTM for Business and other applications can continue to work transparently with the virtual files without gaining access to the confidential content. This allows authorized users to maintain their usual workflows without storing the content of data in the public cloud. With the encrypted and fragmented original data, the customer can decide where to store it. This gives him full control over his data.
